Experienced graphic design professional

Hi there!

I am a seasoned design professional, originally from a publishing background, where I was primarily engaged in editorial design, working predominantly within the lifestyle sector on magazines and brochures, whether for hoteliers or independent jewellers.

I developed the brand and design of ‘Chef’ magazine, a specialist trade publication targeted at leading and aspiration chefs in the UK and beyond. This magazine work led to cookbook projects where I worked alongside photographers, designed and artworked the content, and prepared it for press.

For the last eight years I have predominantly worked in Business-to-business marketing communications, working on everything from white papers to web banners, from Powerpoint support to exhibition panels. I support clients directly, such as British Standards Institution, and other design agencies with their B2B client work. Working with larger organisations has been instructive in how to work within existing or evolving brand frameworks, applying the principles consistently across designs and guiding other stakeholders when supporting the wider teams.

I enjoy good working relationships with all my clients, one of the most important aspects of design is understanding and anticipating what clients need, as well as delivering impressive visual work. My clients come back to me because I am responsive, reliable and take the time to clarify what they need, before jumping straight in.
